Brown: Medium grind, dry or wet weather, with or without tar. Great wear life.
Red/Yellow: Medium or light grind, dry weather, with or without tar.
Blue/Green: Medium or light grind, wet weather, without tar.

Echo Brake Pad

- Aggressive bite with a 'sticky' feel, ensuring good hold.
- Moulded to exacting tolerances and professionally glued to ensure the best quality.
- Very similar compound to the popular ZOO! brake pad, just a little harder to give better performance with ground rims.
- Funky printed Echo logos on both sides of the pad set them apart from the rest!

Recommended Use
Smooth rims, with or without tar in dry weather (best wear life).
Light grind, preferably without tar (best performance).
Not recommended for harshly or freshly ground rims.

Echo CNC Brakes Rear

Description
- Full 6061-T6 construction offers strength and quality never seen before on rim brakes.
- Similar TPA adjustment to the Magura HS33 brake is hidden away neatly.
- Pinned lever blade pivot is held in place by a grub screw: much neater than other current rim brake systems, and prevents it from coming loose by itself! We recommend using loctite on this grub screw to ensure it does not work loose.
- The lever pin runs on two self-lubricating brass bushings, minimising the amount of 'wobble' and giving smooth running performance for years.
- Supplied fully bled and also includes colour-matched Echo CNC brake clamps and Echo brake pads.
- Light/thin German mineral oil and German sealing
- Also includes CNC machined Echo lever blade in the same colour as the brake mounts, cylinder washers and brake bolts.
- 80cm (front) and 120cm (rear) main hose as standard (which can be easily trimmed) to fit all bike setups.
- Main hose construction is plastic, with a kevlar reinforced centre, making it much tougher than standard plastic hose.
- Hose attaches to the lever right against the handlebars (see additional picture), meaning its almost impossible to hit the hose at this position!
- Uses full Stainless Steel M6 press-in barbed fittings and grub screws throughout.
- Smaller brake cylinders offer better crank and heel clearance, and are also lighter!
- Thicker and shorter 'pin' on the slave cylinders offer two advantages: they are stiffer and stronger, and they also have less chance of scraping against your rim when the brake pads have worn down.
- Much higher tolerances (than other cast brakes) on this part of the system hold your brake pads more securely, reducing wear on the lip features of the backings, and also reducing the rounding-off of brake pads (and in turn increasing performance).
- Larger clamping region on the cylinders offers a better range of adjustment than similar hydraulic rim brakes.
- Cleverly placed bleed nipple (on top of the lever body) ensures easier bleeding of the system.
- Weight: 311g per brake, including 4 bolt mounts.
